No. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian to agree to our Terms and look after the account.

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, a recent browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) and a stable internet connection. There is nothing to install.

It is not required, but we recommend it. Verifying lets us reach you about bookings, and lets you recover your password. An account that is never verified is closed after 30 days. Logging in again reopens it.

Buy credits in Wallet → Buy credits and use them to book classes. When you book, the class price is held. It is only charged after you attend.

No. Credits stay in your account for as long as it is open.

With FPX online banking, Touch 'n Go eWallet and other methods through Billplz. Any processing fee for the method you choose is shown before you pay.

Unused paid credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, and payment errors are always put right. Attended classes are not refunded. See section 4 of the Terms.

Credits set aside for classes you have booked. They come back to you if you cancel in time or the class is cancelled.

Open Classes, pick a class and press Book. When it is time, press Join on the class card. You can join a few minutes before it starts.

Yes, up to 15 minutes before the class starts. Your held credits come back in full. After that the booking cannot be cancelled.

You get an alert and an email, and your held credits come straight back. Teachers can only cancel up to 60 minutes before the start.

No. Students and teachers are not allowed to record, screen-capture or photograph classes. Gergasi records some parts of classes for safety and quality, and everyone is told when that happens.

The teacher can remove them from the class straight away, with no refund for that class. Anyone who tampers with a class is dismissed from it.

Press the Safety button in the class. Gergasi's team is alerted immediately.

Sign up as a teacher, complete your profile and teaching subjects, and wait for Gergasi to verify you. Then create classes from your dashboard's Schedule.

You set the price. Gergasi's commission starts at 25% and falls with every completed paid class, to 15% after 1000 classes. Tips are yours in full.

Earnings clear 7 days after the class. You can request a payout once your cleared balance is at least RM50.

Gergasi may pause new classes for some subjects or levels. Contact admin if you believe you should be able to teach it.

A fund of contributions from the public, companies and supporters that pays for classes for students who cannot afford them. Anyone can contribute from the home page.

Apply from your Wallet. Gergasi reviews each application. Sponsored credits can be used to book classes only, not for tips or Battle voice chat.

A mental-arithmetic game with solo practice, Duel on one device, and Battle rooms with friends. Teachers can also run rounds inside a class.

No. Power Congak is free to play, but only while you keep at least 5 paid credits in your Gergasi wallet. Nothing is deducted when you play. Sponsored credits don't count towards this. Rounds your teacher runs inside a class are part of the class and are always open.

No. Anyone can join a public or private Battle room as a guest by typing a nickname. Hosting a room needs a registered student account with at least 5 credits in the wallet, and is done from the dashboard.

Points and badges are for fun and ranking only. They cannot be exchanged for credits or money.
